We are proud to announce The Women’s Fund of East Tennessee earned a 2020 Gold Seal of Transparency from GuideStar, the world’s largest database of nonprofit organizations in the United States. Less than five percent of non-profits registered with GuideStar are recognized with a Gold Seal, the leading symbol of non-profit transparency and accountability.

The Women’s Fund is dedicated to providing current and potential donors with accurate and in-depth knowledge about the ways in we advance our vision and mission with all donations we receive. Receiving the Gold Star means we have published qualitative information about our goals, strategies and vision.

The goal of GuideStar’s rating system is to provide as much information as possible to donors about individual nonprofits so she/he can make an educated decision about organizations to support financially. The elements provided on each nonprofit include:

  • Verification of registration with the IRS

  • Financial data

  • Mission Objectives Impact Summary

  • Individual reviews

Your gift matters to us so we hope you will visit www.guidestar.org to learn as much as you can about how our organization works to make positive change for low-income women and girls in 25 East Tennessee Counties.
